Weekly Wrap: Oct 12
This week on Planet Nude: Breasts and elbows, editorial changes to a nudist magazine staple, and the importance of living authentically. Plus Strips!
Welcome to another Weekly Wrap! This week we discussed the absurdities of systemic gender discrimination, shared news from The Naturist Society about leadership changes, and explored the importance of living authentically. We shared new podcasts, and all new webcomics on Strips!
On a personal note, I’m headed out of the country for a week, to attend the International Naturist Federation (INF-FNI) congress in Zipolite, Mexico! I have all of next week’s posts queued up in advance. Due to the fact that I will be traveling, I may not have time to put together a new Weekly Wrap for next Saturday. I’m going to try to find the time, but one only gets so many hours to enjoy tropical nudist paradises in one life, so just in case I’m too present drinking margaritas with my feet in the sand to scratch out an article, please consider this your fair warning. Of course, no matter what, we’ll be back again for October 26th.
Anyway, without further ado, enjoy all of this week’s stories from Planet Nude, below! 🚀

A thoughtful essay by William J. Schroer that delves into the importance of living authentically and shedding societal expectations. Are elbows indecent? Minnesota’s bizarre legal argument
A fascinating report examining the Minnesota Supreme Court case involving Eloisa Rubi Plancarte, who was convicted for walking topless through a gas station parking lot. The case highlights gender inequality in public nudity laws and the potential implications for body freedom advocates, especially given the perplexing argument that even exposing an elbow could theoretically violate the state’s indecent exposure statute.

The Naturist Living Show: Protecting Children
In Episode 160, we tackle a sensitive and often misunderstood topic: the presence of sex offenders in naturist environments. The mainstream world often assumes that naturist spaces would attract child predators, but is this the case? What truly motivates them, and do people really understand how sex offenders operate? Can they be identified by their appearance or behavior? We sit down with a psychologist with decades of experience in the criminal justice system to explore these difficult questions and shed light on the reality behind the assumptions. 🪐

Buy a LOT of sunscreen in Zipolite! It is a beautiful beach, but it is soooo hot! This Pacific Northwesterner couldn't take the heat.
