Weekly Wrap: Jan. 3
This week on Planet Nude: Reflecting on 2025, celebrating a win in Brazil, and exploring faith and nudity. Happy New Year!
Welcome to this week’s Weekly Wrap! As we step to the edge of a new year, Planet Nude is reflecting on where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and the conversations shaping naturist life right now. This week’s collection blends timely news, legal updates, and deeper cultural reflections, offering a wide-angle view of the challenges and progress facing the global naturist community.
Inside this issue, you’ll find a fresh News of the Nude roundup, a significant legal victory in Brazil, and reporting that looks closely at access, enforcement, and moments of tension in public nudity spaces. Alongside the news, we’re exploring bigger questions about faith, perception, and how nudity is framed, as well as looking back on Planet Nude’s journey through 2025 and the stories that defined it.
As we turn the page on the calendar, we’d like to wish all of our readers a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for being part of this community, for reading, reflecting, and showing up with curiosity and care. Here’s to more thoughtful conversations and continued body freedom in the year ahead.
There’s plenty to discover so let’s dive into this week on Planet Nude. 🚀

Pollen explores the gap between idealised magazine imagery and actual naturist participation, the use of pseudonyms to protect reputations, and how promotional visuals created tensions between naturist ideals and lived reality.

The Naturist Vibe
In this episode of The Naturist Vibe podcast, Gabby, The Crowned Nudi and Dan, Maker of Things return with Part 2 of “Diddy Do It. He Sure Did,” continuing their breakdown of Sean Combs: The Reckoning produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and directed by Alexandria Stapleton. They dive into Episodes 3 and 4 through an ethical naturist lens, focusing on universal values like consent, boundaries, accountability, and zero tolerance for exploitation.
Before the deep dive, Gabby and Dan reflect on 2025 highlights: community wins with the Naturist Business Network, momentum with RK Underground, progress on Rooted Kind Hair, and the premiere year of TNV. Gabby also shares what it means to be newly appointed Chair of AANR’s Young Adults and Diversity Advisory Council and celebrates key relationships and press moments that helped shape the year.
