What do you wish more people understood about nudism?
In this #UndressedThread, we’re talking about public perception—what gets lost, misread, or simply ignored
Whether you’ve had to explain your way of life to a skeptical friend, counter a media stereotype, or fight to keep your space open, you’ve probably had a moment where you thought: They just don’t get it.
In this week’s #UndressedThread, we’re asking:
What’s the biggest misconception people have about nudism?
What is the best thing to say to shift someone’s view? What has worked when you’ve tried?
What do you think? 🪐

The one that bothers me most is the belief that it's *gone*. A lot of Americans don't know about the vibrant nudist communities that exist today. They think of "nudist colonies" as some wacky feature of the past. All the other misconceptions don't matter if people don't understand that nudism really exists and that there's worthwhile stuff going on right now
The exhilarating feeling of freedom that shedding clothing provides, not only as it affects the body externally, but the infusion of freedom the act provides one mentally. It is difficult to explain to those who have not experienced it.
