Naturists in Germany have scored a major victory as the city of Rostock officially bans swimwear on its designated FKK (Freikörperkultur) nude beaches. Visitors to these naturist-only areas along the Baltic coast must now be fully nude—no swimsuits allowed. The decision came after complaints that clothed visitors were disrupting the experience for naturists, with incidents of gawking and photography being reported. Officials say the new rule will help protect the integrity of traditional nude beaches and prevent encroachment from textiles. Enforcement will be carried out by beach wardens, who can ask non-compliant visitors to either strip down or leave. While some see this as a necessary step to preserve naturist spaces, others worry it could deter newcomers who are hesitant to go fully nude. 🚀
