In recent years, public nudity has faced a mix of wins and losses around the world. Toronto’s Hanlan’s Point and Seattle’s Denny Blaine Beach were saved from closure, but in places like Hawaii and Wisconsin, nude beaches remain under threat, with Mazo Beach still closed after legal battles. Florida has dwindled to just four official nude beaches, but there’s promise of a fifth reopening soon. Meanwhile, Europe remains a stronghold for public nudity, and even in Taiwan, naturism is slowly gaining ground despite legal restrictions. With such varied trends, will public spaces for nudity grow, or will restrictions tighten? Share your thoughts in this week’s #UndressedThread!
