Never mind the bar, I should make a 3D model for the whole clubhouse. Including, as of now, the hidden panels. I've always imagined Ernst as being sort-of wealthy, with enough money in the bank for indulgences like a sick hi-fi system stashed away in the clubhouse that is only there because he wants it. The TV is very large too, but that's not as special as it used to be.
Increasingly, I try to avoid American Big Tech in favor of European alternatives. Unfortunately, Spotify, while technically a European company, is unacceptable to me, so I use Qobuz for music streaming and the occasional digital album purchase. And so does Oozer, apparently.
I was going to refer to Spotify as “Spottynerd” but since it’s gone all-in on so-called AI, “Sloppify” works better.
With each comic that gets posted, I gain a couple more subscribers to my own newsletter. Which is great! I love the attention. But a lot of the time, that dopamine hit gets delivered in the wrong place! My Substack newsletter is closed, and the actual newsletter that I do write in is hosted on the Steady platform. See you there if you want!

Greyfriar’s Isle is a comic about an island and the people who live there. A small family runs Marsh Light, a naturist campsite connected to the beach where locals and tourists spend their vacation time. The island is historically friendly to naturism, but not universally so. Also, there are ghosts and strange, eldritch island customs.
Greyfriar’s Isle is inspired by the comics I read in my youth, by the real-world island experiences I had in my youth, my ideas about what naturism should be and the stories naturists tell each other about themselves.
New episodes come out on the first and third Wednesday of every month! 🪐
