The sole positive benefit of covid was the realization by the world's corporate structure of how little the office matters. Within 6 months of my company going WFH in March'20, our HR was making moves toward not everyone coming back full-time and many people not coming back at all. I arranged to get permanent remote status so now every day is Work Naked Day. I've since moved to south Florida where the climate is more accommodating year-'round.
It's Thursday, and I haven't had to be dressed since Sunday afternoon.
Karl, that's a great situation for you and many others as well. My daughter and SIL since covid have found themselves in this same scenario with their jobs. No amount of talk and reasoning with them has convinced to try working nude from home. It's frustrating to watch them waste this wonderful opportunity, one I wish I would have had when I was their age.
It will be 0 before windchill during working hours here tomorrow. Even with heat that’s a bit much. Just like how WNGD occurs a month before we start planting where I live, we need better timing.
Hubby and I have been working nude in our home office running our businesses for years. So, a designated day is meaningless to us. However maybe it does inspire others to give it a go, if so, it's still a win for what we all know is a better way to work and live our lives and that is, "no joke".

I've been working from home naked for about five years. I'm a project manager for a landscape design company. The four partners are all gay men, as I am. We have early morning Zoom meetings - three of us are always naked on those calls.
I suspect the original meaning of Working Naked Day has long been appropriated by most to mean actually working while nude. Who among us doesn't like another holiday especially one where you can work in the nude. As for injecting a naturist flair into the holiday, I intend to make a meme expressing a naturist message along with the name of the holiday. I'll be working on that meme in the nude.
Geez Evan….such a downer, stick in the mud post. JUST KIDDING!! Love your stuff. Yeah, sure these little harmless, made up “holidays” aren’t needle movers. But they do broach the subject. I recall years ago, my sister, who knew of my penchant for nudie time, shared a news article and asked if I was going to be celebrating WNGD. A nice discussion followed. You never know what might open that door. Thanks for the post. Enjoying the new page. Im sharing most all on Tumblr, trying to get some decent naturist content going there. Thx again!
Update to my previous comment - we still have our early morning Zoom meetings from home where on camera nudity is commonplace. I now going into the office several days a week as do all partners. Two of us, including myself course, are always totally bare there - even when clients are present. It's completely accepted and welcome - others do so on occasion. Our landscape design style is very natural - so our nudity fits right in and is part of our culture and ethos - be one with nature.

I especially like the metaphorical Working Naked Day.

I am greatly disappointed with a censored photo.
