Hi Evan. Maybe it's me, but I'm caught in an endless captcha loop, trying to create an account. Seems to be a bug. I'm pretty sure I'm dragging the correct image. And I really am human. A mildly frustrated human 😉.

Sorry! We have had such an influx that Discord paused our invites to make sure it wasn't a cyber attack. It should be open now, but if you get held up, please come back and try again later.

I was able to join no problem

This is unfortunately timed, considering that Discord is now requiring ID age verification next month. I don't trust this platform, and neither should nudists who respect their privacy.

A valid concern about a chilling thing happening. Of course, the timing thing is a coincidence but the irony is not lost!

Absolutely, not knocking y'all for doing this, this is a great move to bring readers onto a modern messaging platform! Just stinks we have yet another tech company demanding users hand over their credentials in a fake effort to protect children.

It's so dystopian and happening everywhere

Awesome to hear this! I just joined and reposted this to get the word around faster so hopefully more people will join.

I can’t get past the first page that says it can’t recognise the email to which you sent the notice!

Just to clarify for anyone reading this — the post that was removed wasn’t about nudism broadly. It was an article that framed an entire religion as a cultural threat in the context of a life drawing accommodation issue.

We absolutely welcome discussion about art education, institutional policy, and how religious accommodations intersect with figure drawing. Those are valid topics.

What we don’t host are generalizations about whole faith communities. That’s not “Big Brother.” That’s editorial judgment about the kind of discourse we want associated with Planet Nude.

Open conversation doesn’t mean platforming every framing of an issue, or sharing everyone’s substack posts. It means being clear about standards.
