I am sorry this happened to you. It's great that you have lots of data points that show positive community support.

Sadly, there is a lot of trauma in the world. I think this reaction is what unhealed trauma looks like. Projecting past experiences on people who do not deserve it. Unfortunately, the victims of trauma don't deserve it, either, and it ends up hurting everyone. This might not be what happened, but I wanted to share it as a possibility.

I hope you can meet with the fair organizers after and have a good discussion about this, coming to agreements on what things will look like going forward. I hope you can solicit some advice and support from others in the naturist community who have gone through similar challenges.

The offence of the few outweighs the rights of the many. It is so sad that we now live in a culture of offence and cancellation.

I love living in “the land of the free.” The fascists are coming for us and don’t care.

These situations, where an anonymous complaint is made to an event promoter, no criminal activity was ever observed and yet the event promoter over-reacts, shuts down the booth client, and in doing-so irreparably injures the booth client. Where does the booth client go for a remedy?

The booth client should sue the event promotor and issue a subpoena to learn the identity of the complainant. Appropriately sue each; the event promoter for violation of due process, interruption of right to commerce and free speech which caused irreparable injury (you cannot get your precious time restored) and sue the complainer for filing false claims to defame and injure all rights to commerce and free speech.

I'm not an attorney but I'm sure a righteous attorney could move this case.

Sadly, while the law may be on your side the only way to get it to take your side is the expensive and time-consuming course through the courts. The legal system has made itself largely inaccessible to those standing up for law and justice, giving free rein to those who would abuse it.

I would like to know how such a small number of complainers could do this? Unless the festival organizers were just looking for an excuse anyway, and didn't know how to go about it otherwise.
