Very cool! He wouldn't know me from Adam as I only go to Star Ranch once or twice a year, usually for a 5K, but I have found myself talking with him in the pool more often than not.
The movie was almost shot there, but fortunately (for me at least) the board voted against it, so the production came and asked Glen Eden (which is when I became involved)
You're right - this definitely deserved its own history. I loved the pandemic version of Disrobed, and through emails I got to know Troy, Ian, Eloise, Dave, and Karen a little. It's thrilling to see that the movie version is going ahead. The actors were all so fantastic in the online version, I'm excited to see the film. Thanks for this excellent insight into the process!
Small world: I recognize in a couple of the photos Mark, who I have met a few times at Star Ranch east of Austin, Texas.
Mark is a producer on the movie!
