First encounter was in Germany at a Shwimbad (phonetic, probably bad spelling), way back, early 70’s. So “bath” in Europe was common. Then came home for my Dad’s funeral, I was in the area and I heard so much about Black’s Beach, I had to see it. Literally thousands of people on the beach ALL ages, not that popular anymore. So I think Naturist is good for that kind of environment. Then stationed in New York State we found Empire Haven. So I have an affinity for “Haven” for a naked venue. It feels safe and comfortable.
Rudolph Johnson, my 2x great grandfather, when he first established his club with a small group of local nudists in central Washington state in the early 1940s, named their club after the three locations where the group would regularly meet: The first was his own rural land on which he'd built a great big cobblestone house; the second was a property on the water along Oyster Bay in the Puget Sound; the third was a rural turkey farm. And so they became the "Cobblestone Oyster Gobblers". It was an acknowledged mouthful, and while it was eccentric enough to attract attention, it didn't quite say what the group was, which must have posed a problem for attracting new members. Within their first year, the latter two locations became less and less viable for meetups, and the group tended to favor Rudolph's remote and very private property, and so the name was shortened fittingly to the "Cobblestone Suntanners". That name, still a bit of a mouthful, stuck.
I don’t have a park or physical space to name but I have a name for like-minded group of folks.
Less-Ons for Truth or LOFT

WHO ARE THE LESS-ONS?
A Less-On is anyone who believes that Truth is simple and that less is more when it comes to seeking and living our own personal truth. This applies to all levels of our existence—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. There is no organization, nothing to join or belong to. Being a Less-On is as simple as declaring you are one.
As physical beings, we Less-Ons feel that nude living, whenever possible, is elementary, fundamental and our most honest and basic expression. Therefore, we often wear less or have ‘less on’ than the clothes-minded ‘more-ons’ around us. We don’t, for instance, dress for concealment or adornment nor do we use clothing to display rank, division or power. Besides being functional, however, such as protection from the environment, we Less-Ons understand that clothing can also be an artistic expression demonstrating a variety of human feelings we are experiencing and wish to convey to those around us.
In short, we Less-Ons are simply ourselves and choose not to disguise it, and with that comes a great lesson—a deep sense of freedom.
I recently saw a water treatment plant that's been disused for several years, very overgrown, as you can imagine the water tanks are rather green, but it had a couple of buildings on site and was on sale for £35,000.
My first thought was to get other naturists to come in on it, and until it was all cleaned up I'd call it "Grim, and bare it."
