Me and my girlfriend get our gender affirming surgery and then move to Cap d'Agde, France

Have you ever been to Cap d'Agde? I dreamed of it for decades before actually getting there. I had a pretty good time, but was very disappointed overall. The prevalent vibe has shifted dramatically, from being a true naturist community to one emphasizing the swinger lifestyle. Bars and restaurants have signs encouraging "sexy attire for ladies," while most men dress in slacks and polo shirts; actual nudity is seldom an option. Despite the ubiquitous images you've probably seen, the only naked people in the supermarket are visitors just posing for photos. There is ONE beach restaurant where you can actually enjoy a meal in the nude... but my friends and I were the only ones actually doing so during each of our 3 lunches there... and there were also one or two top-free women.

Technically, nudity is widely permitted around the town, but almost no one goes nude in public areas, except at the beach and at hotel pools. I was shocked to be turned away from some businesses, such as the lobby of the upscale Hotel Oz'Inn (we stayed at Hotel Eve, which was less fancy and more accepting).

There are sections of the beautiful beach that are absolutely wonderful for naturists, but also areas where couples perform free sex shows while surrounded by huge crowds of masturbating men. This is illegal, but commonplace. My personal take on that was "Yuck!"

In short, I enjoyed spending a few days there for the freedom and novelty of living nude, even if I was in a tiny minority. But, for the most part, the place gave me a very icky feeling.

I hope I haven't burst your bubble, but I wish I had arrived there with a more accurate idea of what the place is really all about.

Si este mundo no estuviera controlado por el dinero, otra sería la historia, nuestro motivador sería la autosuperación y la unión espiritual con la naturaleza y por el amor fraternal.

I would live full time in a nudist resort even if i had to have one built myself.

I would visit all the nude beaches and resorts in the US and then visit all the beaches and resorts in the world as recommended by Nick & Lins.

I would travel a lot but also buy a place in the sun where I could live naked between trips.

I would live in a home (or two) with enough privacy that I could be nude, indoors and out, with absolutely no concern about neighbors, etc.

I do travel a lot, but would love to be able to do so with no financial nor time constraints. As it is, I must choose between culturally interesting destinations or nude-friendly places.... it would be great to include more of each.

And, I'd have lots and lots of plastic surgery. JUST KIDDING!

I have the home and privacy indoors and outdoors now, just need a likeminded woman to share it with.

For years I've looked at property porn (20 bedroom mansion on the coast for £5,000,000, that sort of thing), and thought about how part of the grounds could be naturist friendly, camp site, showers, sauna, etc.

So winning millions was always hope.

Now, as I've got older, I would be happy with something far more modest with a secluded garden.

And winning millions would just mean my family wouldn't need to do anything they didn't want to, and I could do some of those really long train journeys I watch on YouTube.

I would buy Lupin Lodge, give it the upgrades it needs and keep it clothing optional!

I would love to move to a place out in nature somewhere, where I could be a full-time barefooter and not own shoes and being nearly full-time naturist. I would spend most of my time watching and enjoying the wildlife and the plants and the trees, or just enjoying the weather in the sunshine.

Money is rarely the only or the most important constraint on what we do. Responsibilities to community, family etc. also influence our decisions. I wasn’t surprised to see that “pursue passions” and “doing what I’m doing now” have similar weights in the responses.

I am doing well now. More money wouldn't make a significant difference.

However, on reflection, If I had made different significant decisions in the past, I very, very possibly have different ideas on what I would like to do.

If funds were unlimited, I would set up an endowment so that there would be a regular flow of funds in the future to support the member-run nudist resorts that would have been purchased, and support the adjoining communities to become clothes-free, and within each would be a LAM (library, archive, museum) to retain our history as well as educate the general public about all the benefits of living a naturist life.

I have long wanted to buy a huge property and set it up as a naturist friendly camp ground with walking tracks, riding trails and all sorts of "back to nature" things to do. I'd setup a large community firepit that people could gather round in the evenings if they wanted. Unfortunately I don't have the money for such an undertaking and I'm not getting any younger.

Finances play a lot for housing, food, and recreation. I would love to have more recreation time.

In the dream a home with acerage to wander free is great. Isolation can be nice, but so are friendships. Travel is nice to complement historical locations while making your own.

Reality is ok. Not enough recreation and travel. Yet a day or weekend every month can satisfy me. Hot springs, beaches, camping, and hikes.
