1. How does naturism/nudist appeal to youngsters again?

2. How does the apparent rise in purity culture, at least in the United States, affect nudism?

To what extent do the goals and objectives of the founders of naturism in the early 20th century correspond to the goals and objectives reflected in today's definition of naturism?

How do we sell the idea of nudism to people younger than the age of 60?

How do we encourage more women to participate?

How do we bring nudism back to the mainstream?

How do we combat the rise of neo-puritanism in the U. S.?

How can we influence social media rules that criminalize the naked body?

I would like to better understand my personal rights when being nude on my own property. Does posting notices on the property insulate me in any way?

Robert….

It’s a little different being nude on your balcony or porch, which I enjoy as well. My concern is the I have a large plat of land in the NC mountains where I can hike, and fish nude in a private setting. What concerns me is even though I have posted signs at the head of my property that it’s private as well as a sign that specifically says “You will encounter nudity beyond this point”, and I still have people who drive down my driveway as though it’s a primary road.

In NC there are laws on the books that prohibit public nudity, however, I have yet to come across any laws that would protect me if I make it very clear to any person that enters my property that they will encounter nudity. I’ve not seen any law or provision for any state that would offer some measure of protection for land owners who enjoy the nudist life style, yet make every effort to inform visitors. It’s one thing to go beyond your property and impose on others but what protection do I have if someone comes to my property uninvited?

This week has been a week of redoubling of censorship efforts by Facebook, my avatar cartoon that was judged as porn and removed last year (and then reinstated) has again been removed giving me yet another strike in the eyes of farcebook. As nudists/naturists we need to come together and do more to support each other before we are censored out of existence.

I try to share information and photos of life as a naturist. Hopefully so folks know we're just normal people. Suddenly my friends are saying I'm sharing too much. How else can we make this more acceptable?

I see variations on what I want to say but I figure I'll put my own spin on the topic here anyway. I see lots of articles about "why" there aren't more young people in the community and even a lot of ideas on how bringing in a new generation could be done. What I don't see is anyone actually doing it and writing about it. What is working? What is not working? How is the word being spread? How is it being organized and evangelized? Cultural movements start on the ground with individuals actually doing the work.

"Realistic ways to bring more people into the nudist fold, especially women since it is very off balance."

The only way we can increase our voice, and spaces, is to add people. I have had to go as far as to purchase my own nudist getaway, but have no one to share it with.

What kind of scientific/empirical research would we want to be conducted in the aspect of naturism?

For example, I would like to know how much microplastics can one person release per year from laundry if the person decided to exercise everyday while wearing synthetic "sports" clothing? I feel like naturism is more attractive/more accepted to people when it's done for practical purpose with research findings to back up the claims.

Nudism and Naturists all proclaim that to be nude is not sexy... that they two are not connected. But in the USA, the concepts are so tightly connected, is it not foolishness to claim that nudity is not sexual?

Nudists do nothing that textiles don't do. We simply do it without the constraints of clothes. Pictures of the first camp together that my late wife and I took in the wilds of South Australia. I think we need to emphasise that we are not some sort of strange cult.
