Voting opens for the first AANR Naturist Choice Awards
The association invites the public to help recognize naturist spaces, platforms, and projects
The American Association for Nude Recreation has launched the first-ever Naturist Choice Awards, a new, community-driven effort to recognize the people, places, and projects that shape nudism and naturism today.
Unlike juried honors or staff-selected lists, the Naturist Choice Awards are built around open participation. Voters are invited to nominate and vote for their favorites across a wide range of categories, including nudist resorts and social clubs, nude-in-nature spots, naturist websites, and social media accounts. Voting is open to everyone, and you do not need to be an AANR member to take part.
After voting closes, AANR plans to publish top finishers in each category along with selected voter comments that reflect the community’s perspective. The results will also inform broader promotional and media outreach once the awards conclude.
Voting remains open through February 15, 2026, and the full ballot can be completed in just a minute or two.
If you’d like to participate, you can cast your vote here:

There’s even a category for best naturist website, which means Planet Nude is technically on the ballot. If this project has informed, entertained, or occasionally challenged you in useful ways, you’re welcome to give it a nod—though the real point of the awards is participation, not promotion.
At its best, the Naturist Choice Awards offer a snapshot of what today’s naturist community values and wants to see recognized. The more people who vote, the clearer that picture becomes. 🪐
