With this Battelle won, why don't more women choose to utilize this freedom? Is it not known and more should be done to make it so?

I believe that more women don't chose to utilize this freedom because they expect - rightfully so - that they will be ogled at best, accosted at worst, and are still intimidated to "conform." It's a vicious cycle: they won't use the freedom until society at large gets used to it; society at large won't get used to it unless it experiences it.

I agree with Bill. A friend has finally given up being topless in her own yard, completely legal where she lives, because of the harassment she's had to put up with. Both complaints, and the "sight see'ers" for a lack of a better term. Her words, "It's just not worth it!" She's turned her back on any form of nudism because of it even.

That's too bad.

Agree. Most of the complaints came from the same person. They’d been “schooled” by local law enforcement multiple times, that it wasn’t illegal and reporting it numerous times actually was. Still didn’t stop the neighbor from reporting her.

I’m from Rochester and I remember this well. It was in the news for a while after the arrests and each time it was in the court system. They were even on the Phil Donahue talk show.

I enjoy and learn from very episode of NAKED AGE podcast, but this is one of my favorites. Morley is magnificent, indeed... what a terrific guy! His inspiring and entertaining interview makes me grateful that you didn't dub me Andy the Adequate.
