Skinny Dip Day team spotlight: Glen Eden Sun Club
The Southern California resort is fundraising with a pie to the face
Glen Eden Sun Club is one of the largest and best-known clothing-free resorts in Southern California, so it's a little surprising that 2026 marks the club's first year fielding a team for Skinny Dip Day. They're diving in headfirst, joining the roster of teams raising money for the Fistula Foundation ahead of the July 11 dip. We asked the club to tell us why, and Karen answered on its behalf.
What inspired your team to get involved in Skinny Dip Day?
Glen Eden Sun Club is built on community, inclusion, and supporting one another. When we learned about the life-changing work of the Fistula Foundation, getting involved felt like a natural fit. We’re honored to join people around the world in raising funds and awareness for such an important cause.
What makes your team special?
As a clothing-free resort, we’re dedicated to creating an environment where people can feel comfortable, accepted, and at ease in their own skin. International Skinny Dip Day celebrates that spirit of freedom and authenticity, making this fundraiser a natural fit for our community.
What’s been the most memorable moment of your fundraising journey so far?
We’re still in the early stages, but it’s been inspiring to see our members rally around the cause. And, to add a little fun, everyone who donates through Team Glen Eden is entered for a chance to throw a pie at one of our board members!
What impact do you hope this fundraiser will have?
At the most basic level, we’d love to help fund at least one life-changing surgery for a woman in need. But beyond that, we hope to raise awareness about a condition many people have never heard of and inspire others to support this incredible work.
What’s one message you’d like to share with supporters?
It’s easy to think one donation won’t make much difference, but together those small acts add up to something life-changing. We’re grateful to everyone who chooses to be part of that impact. 🪐
