Half a year ago, we embarked on an expedition. Our destination: the unique realm of global nudist culture. Today, as we mark this milestone, we extend our gratitude to our readers, reflect on our achievements, and look forward to Planet Nude's future.

We profoundly appreciate our growing community, which has already reached over 1600 free subscribers and a rapidly increasing number of paid members. Your active engagement has been the compass guiding us through this complex landscape, shaping our understanding and narratives. Our collective exploration has drawn a more comprehensive picture of the world of nudity and nudism. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Our journey thus far
In just six months we’ve already published over 100 articles, essays, interviews, and exposés, and garnered a quarter of a million views across those posts. We’ve reached readers across the globe in over 64 countries. Nearly fifty percent of our subscribers signed up for Substack just to follow Planet Nude, which we believe is a testament to the fact that our articles and content are worth seeking out.
We've told untold stories, highlighted unique perspectives, and even broken nudist news, all of which provides a broader framing to understand the current state and the potential future of nudism and nude expression. Through our essays on nudity and the body, our film reviews and artist interviews, and our historical articles about nude activism and inspiring pioneers, we’ve found more context and understanding about nudity’s place in the global zeitgeist.
This journey has also seen Planet Nude expand and evolve. Three months in, we introduced a paid subscription model, offering our supporters exclusive content. Recently, we launched a podcast, widening our reach and offering a fresh way to engage with our audience.
A significant part of our expedition has been fostering a thriving community. Our discussion threads and comments sections have become platforms for thought-provoking debates and meaningful dialogue. It's through this mindful exchange of ideas that we deepen our collective understanding and appreciation of nudist culture, and learn from one another.
