This article was a joy to read. Thank you and happy nude year! And thank you for the passion and connection you bring here. This space has been and continues to be a breath of needed fresh air.

I agree with your macro trends predictions. However, I'm more interested in your "Tipping Point" or "Freakonomics" predictions. :) There's nothing more I like than being wrong, so here's are some wildcard suggestions to play off of...

1. Feminude revolution. The body acceptance, pro choice and female ecowarrior movements converge and drive international change through nude protest that shakes the traditional leaders inside the naturist organizations.

2. Friends in need. Stronger alliances are forged across the LGBTQ2S+ communities and naturists as legislative snares impact both groups.

3. Real nude bodies in the mainstream grow. As AI generation is fed by censored ideas on what bodies look like, the quest for authenticity and natural counter pendulum swings mean more nude bodies in mainstream media in various formats.

4. Needy nudies. As inflation, property prices and the cost of living outstrips (pun intended) wages, new waves of naturist/ nudist activities spark up in different geographies.

5. Community grows. Resistance against adverse conditions positively impacts communities based on naturism and creates focus on uniting for survival.

Very nice. I love the optimism of your predictions. I hope you’re right on all of these counts!

That’s quite a year! Nice rundown of some great articles.

As for what the next year holds for naturism in the US, I think the election will be a key determiner. I try not to be a realist, not overly optimistic or pessimistic. But as I continue to see hate grow and become more emboldened, I’m having a hard time maintaining a sunny disposition, naturist or otherwise. We’ll see. Glad to know you and your team will be helping tell the naturist story along the way.

Happy New Year Evan! You sure have done a ton of work and put in a ton effort into making Planet Nude a reliable resource for nudism and naturism. You should be very proud. It was kinda a tough year for us naturists in California. I agree with your predictions for next year.

Thanks Evan for all your hard work! Over the last two years I have learned so much from your podcasts and some of the other contributors from the other side of the ocean (writing from EU), like Scott and Stephane. It’s much appreciated and it helped me to get a much better understanding of the movement and the role each of us can play. As a result, me and my wife are increasing our efforts to enjoy naturism more often and - whenever appropriate - be more vocal about it. Happy nude year!

I’m a little late commenting here but THANK YOU so very much Evan for all the time and hard work keeping naturists/nudists well (and accurately) informed of the evolution of naturism today.

Where I live makes it difficult for me to be part of a “naturist community”, but I do feel like I am part of one with Planet Nude and I have every intention to remain a supporter and paid subscriber!

PS ... I wanted to mention this month’s ago ... I enjoyed watching the interview with you (USA episode) on the French TV5’s “Le Monde est à NU!” hosted by Quebec’s own Martin Vachon. Excellent series of 8 episodes.

Just an FYI, the TV5 series is mostly in French with either voiceovers or with French subtitles when English or other languages are spoken. Being in Quebec and bilingual, it slipped my mind to mention it. My apologies Evan.

It’s okay! I anticipated that when I signed up to do it! I did find the link and watched it and I think I picked up most of what was said, haha. My French was better than I remember! 😂
