Nudity in opera series this week
Leonard Lehrman and Helene Williams in The Naturist Society Foundation's Exploring Nudist Culture series

On Wednesday, May 13, composer-conductor Leonard Lehrman and soprano Helene Williams join host Mark Storey for The Naturist Society Foundation’s Exploring Nudist Culture series, the members-only monthly Zoom program. This month’s topic: nudity in opera.
The session begins at 6 p.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. Central / 9 p.m. Eastern. TNSF members can register here: https://naturistsociety.com/event/enc-202605/
Lehrman and Williams co-founded The Naturist Society’s Opera/Musical Theatre Special Interest Group in 1989 after organizing what is believed to be the first Naturist Opera Workshop at Domaine de Bélézy in France, and have performed at TNS gatherings ever since. Lehrman has composed more than 270 works, including 12 operas, served as assistant chorus master at the Metropolitan Opera, and is among the leading scholars of Marc Blitzstein’s work. Williams is a soprano and actress who has performed with Lehrman in more than 700 concerts across four continents.
Naked Age listeners: Leonard and Helene are subjects of an upcoming episode. Consider this your overture. 🎭
