Introducing the Planet Nude reader survey
A 75-question snapshot of a movement in motion
Planet Nude is proud to launch what we hope will become a yearly tradition: a wide-ranging reader survey designed to better understand the people who make up this vibrant, global community.
We now have over 7,000 subscribers across North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, India, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Egypt, and beyond—and most of them, we’ve learned from past polling, identify as nudists or naturists. That reach makes this an exciting opportunity to gather meaningful data from a culturally diverse but deeply connected movement.
This survey goes beyond basic demographics or feedback. It’s designed to give us a clearer picture of the naturist movement from within.
You’ll find questions that are personal, political, playful, and occasionally provocative. We ask about how you access naturist spaces, what limits your participation, how you feel in your body, and what kind of future you want for this movement. We also ask about inclusion, equity, censorship, and social norms—because nudity doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
Your answers will inform not only what we do at Planet Nude, but how the wider naturist community understands itself. In the coming weeks, we’ll share a follow-up article exploring the results with transparency and curiosity. We will share key findings openly so that advocates, organizations, creators, and participants can all reflect on what it reveals.
Take the Planet Nude 2025 Reader Survey
We hope you’ll take a few minutes to participate—and help us capture a cultural snapshot of nudism, as it really is, right now. 🪐
Interested to see the data roll up when you put it together. Hoping everyone answers truthfully vs answering as they think they are supposed to.
