Season’s greetings,
On Earth, this is the part of the year when people wrap objects in paper, hide them, and then act surprised later. There are rituals involving evergreen plants, baked goods, and the temporary suspension of dress codes and common sense.
This year’s holiday scene belongs to Arr and Arreya, Brad and Janet from Diary of the Astro-Nudes, drawn by Ahmed Raafat, who seem to have landed right in the middle of a very Earthly tradition. They’ve observed that humans celebrate darkness by adding light, celebrate cold by baking, and celebrate togetherness by briefly losing their minds.
From a distance, this all appears perfectly intentional.
Wishing you warmth, softness, and at least one moment where you stop checking your phones and enjoy each other, perhaps slightly drunk on champagne and eggnog—if you’re down with the nog, that is.
With love and warmth,
The Planet Nude Team
