One thing I've come to realize is that a distressingly high percentage of the population will look at any situation and reach a conclusion that satisfies their wants/needs regardless of whether or the situation supports it. I. E reality will never be part of the situation. It's Semmelweiss Reflex run amok. So you may as well do what you're comfortable with.
Good story. In more than half a century of being seen naked I have learned that overcoming the fear I was taught as a child is the hardest part. I also find that I like being seen as the real me, the man under the covering.
