Don’t sleep on the Planet Nude Sticker Club
In a world gone to digital hell, a little mail magic goes a long way
Social media has its hooks in all of us. It promised connection, but more often it feels like noise, a blur of posts, comments, and confusion. Everyone’s shouting over each other. Everything’s instant, but nothing lasts.
The Planet Nude Sticker Club is the opposite of that. It’s slow, tactile, and personal. Once a month, a real envelope shows up in your mailbox, hand-packed, stamped, and filled with art, stickers, and a few surprises. No algorithms, no ads, no notifications. Just the simple joy of opening real mail again. Remember what that felt like? That was the original social media.
When we launched the club a month ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the response has been incredible. We’ve now sent two drops since launch (though if you joined in October, your first one’s just now on the way), and judging from what people are saying, it’s hitting the right note:
“Got my first envelope this week, so much fun! Member #025.” — @trumpetdude13
“We are so thrilled to be counted among the founding members… it was an absolute joy to open our first pack… Carefully and thoughtfully curated… sure to be a monthly treat for many mailings to come.” — @NudeLeaseOnLife
“Delighted to have a simple way to support Planet Nude that’s separate from Substack. And I’ll get a cool freebie in the post every month, too.” — Martin S Pearson (@lyndenlea.uk)
“Now that I’ve secured my spot… I’m excited! This kind of thing is right up my alley. (Oh, and space is limited!)” — @sillybare.bsky.social
“The Planet Nude Sticker Club is the most exciting piece of mail I receive. The Halloween envelope was chef’s kiss.” — @nkedbrew
As of this writing, only about a dozen spots remain, and I plan to keep the club small and personal for now. Each envelope is still packed by hand, each member has a number and card, and I want to preserve that sense of intimacy. If there’s strong enough interest, we may consider opening it up a bit later, but right now membership is limited, and this is your chance to get in.
It’s a small thing, but it’s real. Every drop is a surprise, and every one of them feels a little like getting a letter from a friend. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time. Membership is limited, and as of this writing, only about a dozen spots remain. 🪐
