The comic, "Diary of the Astro-Nudes" by Ahmed Raafat, is drawn in a retro style with dot shading and a sepia tone, mimicking the look of 1950s comic books. It features two nude characters, Ar and Arreya, inter-dimensional travelers from a world without clothes, living with an older couple, Brad and Janet, who are always clothed. This particular strip is called "Bite Sized Fun!" Panel 1: The window is open, and someone off-frame, presumably Janet, says, "I've opened the window to let some air in... don't close it!" Panel 2: Ar and Arreya see a giant mosquito. Panel 3: Another mosquito flies in through the window, causing Ar and Arreya to react in alarm. Panel 4: The window is now surrounded by a swarm of mosquitoes. Panel 5 (larger panel): Ar, Arreya, Brad, and Janet are all swatting at mosquitoes in a frantic attempt to get rid of them. Janet holds a flyswatter. The scene is chaotic with mosquitoes flying around everywhere. Arreya asks, "Why are there so many of them?" Inspired by 1960s nudist camp films like “Diary of a Nudist,” and sci-fi shows such as “My Favourite Martian,” Diary of the Astro-Nudes is the story of Ar and Arreya, two inter-dimensional explorers who come from a parallel Earth where clothes don't exist. They crash-land into an Earth very much like ours circa 1950s, and while they stay there to fix their ship, they examine our attitudes towards nudity and the human body.
