Very interesting. First I want to say that zealots with computer skills seem to have created some stoppage of your video. They have certain things that they disapprove of and are very active in trying to disrupt those things. I appreciate your study of this subject. I absolutely feel that more open nudity would cut down on the mental issues that we have today. I was happy to see Mark Storey in your video. I read his articles in 'N' magazine, but it is nice to see and hear him. I am saddened to see so many people who talk about naturism and what is natural to have marred their bodies with tattoos. But, as I said, I am glad to see that you are addressing this issue. There are groups who want to get rid of ANY nudity ANYWHERE, and I am certainly opposed to these groups. Keep up the battle!

This issue boils down to a general neurosis created by an overall ignorance and lack of critical thought.

All too often the solution to a problem is counterintuitive, and the typical reaction does more damage than good.

It’s almost as if society is largely driven by outdated archaic texts riddled with inaccuracies and contradictions. Not to mention open to wildly incorrect interpretations. Rather than say, up to date behavioural research based on clinical trials.

As some wise screen sage once pointed out, “Stupid is as stupid does.”

There's nothing wrong with kids who are nudists because it allows them to get used to seeing other people's bodies and privates without thinking it's sexual/inappropriate. A lot of adults believe that kids/teens are not allowed to see nudity/nudists because they are not 18+. I also wish that more young adults under 30 are nudists. A lot of people don't know what nudists are and when they hear the words nudists or nude beach for nudists they think that it's only a way for people to see others naked. When people hear that an adult takes their kids/teens to a nudist/nude place like a beach, community, or resort there is always backlash/negative comments. The same goes for adults who are naked around/in front of their kids they also get backlash/negative comments.

Con el naturismo generalizado se acabarían todas las perversiones, porque desde niños verían el cuerpo desnudo de cualquier persona como lo que es, algo natural. Espero que algún día lleguemos a ese nivel, como lo es en algunos países de Europa.

Good advocacy. The "work" of every child is to learn all the knowledge and behavior he or she will soon need to be functional adults. That includes all the information about human anatomy and body functions. Children need to passively observe a full range of members of their own kind, and passively observe a full range of normal human behaviors. Systematically blocking children from learning about themselves and their own species by age restriction censorship is deliberately harmful and hurtful to children.

Hmm. Kind of had a thought. A huge part of the issue the "general public" likely has, and cannot overcome (and which is exasperated by the refusal of things like cops to patrol nude beaches, etc., often to spite those that use them), is precisely the two concepts of, "This is a tight nit community", and, "Everyone knows which kid belongs with which adults, so predators have a hard time preying on them".

Yep... two things that not only flat out do not exist in the wider world, they often don't even exist anymore between neighbors - and even when they did, such predation still happened, but was worse in decades past, because people, "didn't get into each other's business." (that being an almost direct quote about the way many people thought, even of the people in their own neighborhoods, back when they actually socialized with those neighbors. If it happened in the other person's yard, or house, even if someone suspected, no action was taken, because it was "their problem", not yours. Today, some people will call the cops on people at the drop of a hate, for something as stupid as a woman being seen topless, cleaning a garage, with kids present, from a passing neighbor that "spotted them" through a tiny window in the door. Everyone is in everyone else's business, but the same passing idiot might have called the cops purely based on the fact that they had no freaking clue that kids even belonged in said house, because they can't be bothered to know anyone around them.

This is a bit.. problematic to overcome, unless you open vast numbers of resorts, instead of having them keep closing, so there are numerous "close communities", or we break the cycle we are in of both building cities so that such communities can't form at all, and undo the decline into no one knowing, or wanting to know, their neighbors - while not backsliding into the sort of stupid thinking that my own parents had when confronted with suspicions about my uncle, but never acted on, since they, "didn't have proof of what we was doing.", and other similar neglect that happened back when everyone knew their neighbor, but no one was willing to risk those friendships by actually doing something about anything they suspected.

As usual, the whole mess is complicated, with no simply "societal" solution, at least in the US, where the pendulum has swung heavily in favor of trying to protect kids, by, ironically, undermining almost every single bloody things that would actually help protect them, in favor of excessive paranoia and automatic suspicion of 'everything', even when its provably harmless.

I'm so glad that I and my sisters had this unique opportunity to be raised nudist! We wouldn't have any other way and love our mother very much for raising us this way. Being raised this way has benefited our mind, body and souls and improved our overall life and will benefit us in the long run.

Of course there have been uncomfortable, awkward and even incestuous situations, because we were raised this way, but no life is perfect. I have learned so much about woman and have come to see and respect them in a unique way. Similarly, my sister's also see and understand men much more differently as well since I was the only boy in the family.

The "work" of every child is to learn all the knowledge and behavior he or she will soon need to be fully functional adults. An important part of that learning is learning about our species. Children need to learn about themselves and their own species by passively observing a full variety of human bodies doing a full range of normal activities and behavior. Parents need to provide opportunities for children to learn by being examples to observe, and by providing opportunities to observe a wide variety of other children and adult humans. Parents need to facilitate the child learning as easily and as quickly as possible. Systematically preventing children from learning about "adult" bodies and behaviors is deliberately harmful and hurtful to children.

No child of any age has ever been harmed by passively observing normal adults doing any normal adult activities. Children prevented or blocked from learning are being harmed.
