B.E.A.C.H.E.S. seeks prize donations for 2025 raffle supporting nude beach access
The foundation aims to raise $100,000 for naturist initiatives across the Americas
The B.E.A.C.H.E.S. Foundation Institute is calling on supporters and naturist-friendly businesses to contribute prizes to its 2025 fundraising raffle, with a donation deadline of April 30. The annual raffle helps fund the foundation’s efforts to protect and expand public clothing-optional spaces, promote naturist education, and support accessibility upgrades at beaches like Haulover in Miami.
Donated prizes have ranged in past years from gift cards and vacation packages to one-of-a-kind naturist experiences. The 2025 raffle officially launches Memorial Day Weekend, with a final drawing scheduled for September 30. This year’s fundraising goal: $100,000.
Proceeds from the raffle will help support a slate of active projects, including the creation of a naturist library and museum near Haulover, accessibility improvements for visitors with disabilities, and continued outreach and coalition-building through the foundation’s Free Beach Cooperative of the Americas.
“Your past generous in-kind prize donations have played a pivotal role in our annual Free Beach Unity Raffle’s success,” wrote executive director Shirley Mason in a letter to supporters. “We’re excited to feature participating businesses across our platforms and our growing network of naturist supporters.”
B.E.A.C.H.E.S.’ five-year plan (2023–2028) outlines a broader vision: to foster cooperation between beach groups, naturist resorts, and advocacy organizations across borders—from Florida to California, Canada, and, as of 2024, Mexico. The organization was recently granted special designated member status by the International Naturist Federation.
Planet Nude is proud to support the effort by donating several “sustaining member” subscriptions—offering full access to our archive and exclusive content—as well as $250 in merchandise from our Etsy store.
