Astro-Nudes Vol. 1 lands in the Planet Nude shop
This tiny holiday run of Diary of the Astro-Nudes Vol. 1 won’t return once the last copy ships
Planet Nude has released a rare treat for comic fans and collectors: a tiny batch of Diary of the Astro-Nudes Presents: The Strips! Vol. 1 is now available in our Etsy store. This 20-page, black-and-white zine is the first U.S. print edition of Ahmed Raafat’s retro sci-fi nudist comic—and the print run is extremely limited.
Diary of the Astro-Nudes has a life beyond Planet Nude; the series began years earlier as a full-color comic universe created by Raafat. In 2024, he launched a new black-and-white short-form version on Planet Nude—a monthly slice-of-life reboot following Arr and Arreya, two inter-dimensional explorers who crash land on a 1950s version of Earth after arriving from a parallel world where clothes don’t exist.
This volume collects the first twenty strips from 2024–2025, printed in a small-batch zine format and hand-assembled in our studio. At just $7.99 plus shipping, it’s an affordable piece of nudist-friendly indie art—and a fun holiday gift for anyone who loves retro sci-fi, or the quirky edge of nudist culture.
But, only a few were made! Once these copies sell out, they won’t be reprinted. This is the only chance to add Volume 1 to your collection. 🪐
A small aside: if you’re in the Planet Nude Sticker Club, you may want to hold off on buying for now—a copy might already headed your way.
