Totally fair question. I’m not making recommendations here — just trying to give people a clearer picture of what’s on the ballot and how the candidates are approaching it. The Q&As we just posted are a good place to start if you’re weighing the decision.
One note, according to AANR executive director, Erich Schutauff, people who aren't currently AANR members can still join, and vote, in this election. After joining, a new member should call the AANR office to request a ballot for the election. It's advised that new members shouldn't wait too long, as processing the new membership, and then requesting a ballot, may take a few days. So don't leave it until the final week of voting, to join.
Are you going to provide any recommendations for the election? I'd welcome guidance from a trusted source.
